The Value in Behavioral Health Metrics is a statewide virtual convening that will focus on the “value” in value-based care by introducing the Value Proposition as the basis for selecting quality metrics. The convening will explore various measurement models that, when implemented in a treatment setting with a quality-oriented culture, will lead the provider to implementing a balanced portfolio of quality measures that include measures reflecting patient view and treatment choices, and language and culture.

The convening will also include a demonstration from New Mexico behavioral health providers actively partnering with their MCO to develop a portfolio of quality metrics in their setting.  The convening will attempt to shift the Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) paradigm from principally a cost-savings focus to the broader perspective of providing true value to clients, providers, and the community together.

This event will be from 9 am to 11:30 on September 25, 2020
